TR2100 HRCSA Primer/Topcoat
TR2200HS HRCSA Penetrant/Sealer
TRT01 Thinner
TC7101 or Chlor-rid Salt Remover

TC7101 Soluble Salt Remover / Test Kits

High Pressure Water Cleaning (HPWC)(overcoat), or Abrasive Blast (recoat), both require salt mitigation on  flat surfaces and  to completely flush all opened crevice corroded or pack rusted joints and connections..

Whether High Pressure Water Cleaning HPWC (overcoat), or Abrasive Blasting (recoat), salt mitigation on the flat surfaces and complete flushing of all opened crevice corroded and pack rust joints and connections is needed to ensure compliance  with the HRCSA application specifications.

Allowable Surface Area Contaminants (micrograms per meter2): Chlorides – 3ppm, Sulfates -10 ppm, Nitrates – 10 ppm Test Kits can

Also required for thoroughly flushing salts from connections and pack-rust builds.

Whether High pressure water cleaning (overcoat), or abrasive blast (recoat), salt migitation on the flat surfaces and a thorough flushing of all opened connections is needed to ensure compliance to application specifications.

TC7101 or Chlor*Rid salt remover is proportionally added to your potable wash water [100:1 ratio] to mitigate salts at an approximate consumption rate of 600 ft2 / gallon or 15 m2/ litre.

Chlor-rid Soluble Salt Remover may be used instead of TC7101. (see Chlor-rid website) These chemicals are required to completely flush salts from crevice corroded and pack rusted joints and connections.

Salt Test Kits

Permissible Non Visible Surface  Contaminants ug/cm2 micrograms per meter sq.): minimum level of Chloride NVC3 3 ug/cm2, Sulfate NVS10 10ug/cm2, Nitrate NVN10 10ug/cm2.
Test Kits that can be used to determine acceptable non-visible contaminate levels.

CHLOR*TEST (5 surfaces – chlorides only), CHLOR*TEST CSN SALTS (Chlorides, sulfates, nitrates)

TR2100 HRCSA Self-priming topcoat.

TR2100 HRCSA Primer/Topcoat is  a single component, single coat, chemically active coating system which is applied by airless spray, brush, roller or paint mitt.. AVAILABLE IN ANY SPECIFIED COLOUR. ( Federal 595 B&C, RAL Standard and Design, or any customer supplies color standard or sample)

TR2100 HRCSA Primer/Topcoat is a low-surface energy overcoat system (for cleaned, tightly adhered, contaminate free coated or exposed steel substrate) whose Spread Rate is 1018 sq. ft. per U.S. Gal. @ 1 mil DFT || 26.2 sq. m. per litre @ 25 microns DFT – ZERO LOSS FACTOR

To download TR2100 Primer/Topcoat additive click Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets.

Specified Film Thickness: Overcoating clean, tightly adhered existing paint 5 – 7 mils || 125 – 175 microns DFT (Average 200 sq. ft per US gallon ZERO LOSS FACTOR.)

Recoat clean, salt-free bare steel 10 – 12 mils || 250 – 300 microns DFT (Average ~ 100 sq. ft per US gallon ZERO LOSS FACTOR.)

TR2200HS HRCSA Penetrant

Apply liberally to crevices and joints &/or spaces where a gap has been created between plates, around rivets, bolts, nuts and washers, allowing the material to soak into the spaces. – NOT TO BE USED AS A PRIMER.

Coverage: Depending on structure, 10% TR2200HS per volume of TR2100 ordered. ie 10:1 ratio.

TRT01 HRCSA thinner.

TRT01 Solvent is principally used for reactivating formerly applied HRCSA Primer/Topcoat, flushing  paint lines back into original container and cleaning. The only time TRT01 Thinner is added to TR2100 HRCSA Primer/Topcoat is when the coating needs to be thinned when temperatures are cold making it to thick to pump. (Heating maybe a better alternative to lower the viscosity of the TR2100)

Worthy note: When flushing  paint lines with TRT01, conserve the TR2100 HRCSA Primer/Topcoat by pumping   the coating back into it’s original container. Once coating is out of the lines continue pumping and add a  ½ inch  layer of flushing thinner on the top of the recovered coating material. Seal the container and store for future use. Properly stored TR2100 HRCSA Primer/Topcoat has no shelf life limits and can be used again and again. (If a skin develops on the surface of the stored coating remove it and coating can be used).
